Because we understand the importance of seeing and trying on the apparel, FirstCommunions.com does allow limited returns on these items.
- Dresses & Veils (single dress purchase) Return requests must be made within 3 days after receiving the apparel and must be postmarked within 2 weeks.This allows you the opportunity to determine if the item is acceptable while allowing us time to resell it. It also eliminates the chances of the item being worn then returned. Apparel must be in original packaging including hanger and with tags still attached. Any items that have been altered or showing signs of wear or damage will be returned at customers expense. A $10.00 stocking fee will be deducted on dress returns. This fee is waived for exchanges

- Clearance Dresses-Final Sale. No returns or exchanges. No EXCEPTIONS
- Express Shipments-Orders shipped express are not returnable

Custom Dresses- All Sales Final. This includes custom measurements or non white dresses. FirstCommunions.com stocks over 100 styles in a variety of sizes and lengths. As we sell out of a size or style, we remove it from our online catalog. We do offer special orders on many of these dresses (depending availability with manufacturer). Please review the sizing chart carefully as special orders are not returnable or exchangeable. We can accept returns or exchanges only on stock merchandise (sizes, lengths and colors listed in product description of each dress)

Special Order Dresses-Stock sizes (6-14) white dresses are returnable. Please review the policy above

First Communion Shoes, Hosiery and Anklets-NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES. Please review the measuring chart in product description for proper sizing when applicable.
Exchanging Size or Style:We are happy to make exchanges for wrong sizes or a different style but the returned dress/veil MUST be shipped back within 2 weeks of receiving the substitute. Be sure to request a return authorization before sending items back. There is no restocking fee on exchanges. Customer is responsible for shipping fees to return the first dress. We will ship the new dress at no extra charge (one time only).
Gift Items-FirstCommunions.com offers a 30 day refund on gift items. Return requests must be made by email within the 30 days allowed. Items must be in original packaging and in resaleable condition. Dolls that have been removed from their boxes are considered unsaleable and not returnable.

Damaged/Defective Products-Contact us within 48 hours of receiving any damaged or defective product. FirstCommunions.com will not accept returns or exchanges on any item if notifed later than that time. Please keep all tags attached and retain all packaging. If shipment arrives in a damaged shipping box, please REFUSE package. An exchange will be promptly sent for the same item.
Refused Packages-A 25% processing fee will be applied towards all packages that are refused without authorization.
Wrong Item Received
Please contact us via email if you have received the wrong item. We will issue you a return authorization with instructions.
If the error was on our part, we will reimburse shipping charges to send back (ground delivery only). If you need the correct item immediately, we will process a new order and your credit card will be charged accordingly (excluding shipping charges if the error was on our part). You will receive a credit when the returned item is received.
If you prefer to be charged only once, you will send the order back and we will make the proper exchange.

NOTE: Due to the seasonality of our merchandise, our return policy is strictly enforced. If your return request does not meet our requirements, please do not submit a request

No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns will be sent back at customers expense. Please use the following instructions for all return requests: Email us at with the following information:
- Order ID Number
- Reason for return
- Full name and address
- Order Date-See above for allowable return times.
- After approval from our return department, you will be given a return authorization number. This number MUST be clearly written on the outside of the shipping box. Any box which does not have this number, will be refused.
- Returns are processed once each month. Allow 3-4 weeks for credit to be applied.Shipping charges are not refundable under any circumstances. If a product is damaged, we will send a replacement at no charge.

For Exchanges,we suggest placing a new order and returning the other for reimbursement. This will avoid any delays and possibly not having the size available. Please check each dress for available sizes. Not all dresses are stocked in all sizes and we cannot hold or guarantee availability.

Damage caused by shipping or poor packaging will not be credited. We insure all of our packages and suggest you do so as well. For your protection, we strongly suggest including proof of delivery. It is the customers responsibility to show the product was returned to the proper location and in good condition. Items returned must be in resaleable condition.
NOTE: During first communion season (January-May) we are processing a tremendous amount of orders, returns and exchanges. We require your patience when requesting a return authorization. Please refrain from repeated email inquiries. We will respond to all requests within 3-4 business days (or sooner). Thank you for your cooperation.
It is important to understand that the online photos are a close representation of the product shipped. Dresses and veils are made many months after the actual photos are taken so slight variations should be expected and are in no way considered a defect or misrepresentation.
Christian Expressions LLC reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at its discretion, or against any customer it believes is abusing this policy. Any such revision or change will be binding and effective immediately after posting of the revised Refund Policy on Christian Expressions LLC Web sites. You agree to periodically review our Web sites, including the current version of our Refund Policy. Our refund policy is made available on our Web sites. It is your obligation to review our refund policy for any such revisions.
