At FirstCommunions.com, a Christian Expressions® company, we understand how important it is to receive your First Communion dress, veil, boys Communion suit, accessories or religious gifts in plenty of time for your special occasion.
We make every effort to process and ship orders promptly. Please review the shipping information below before placing your order, especially if your First Communion or special event date is approaching.
U.S. Shipping
Most orders shipping within the United States are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days.
Orders may ship through USPS or UPS, depending on the size and weight of the package, destination and shipping service selected.
Standard U.S. Shipping
Flat-rate standard ground shipping: $9.95
Free Ground Shipping
Orders of $100 or more qualify for FREE Ground Shipping within the continental United States.
Free shipping applies to eligible orders after discounts and promotional offers have been applied.
Estimated U.S. Delivery Time
After your order has shipped, the average estimated delivery time within the United States is approximately 3–5 business days.
Please remember that this is an estimate and is not a guaranteed delivery date.
Actual delivery times may vary due to:
- Destination
- Carrier delays
- Weather conditions
- Holidays
- Seasonal shipping volume
- Other circumstances beyond our control
We strongly recommend ordering your First Communion apparel well in advance of your child’s Communion date.
Processing Time vs. Delivery Time
Please keep in mind that processing time and shipping/transit time are separate.
For example, an order that requires 1–2 business days for processing may then require additional business days for delivery after it leaves our facility.
When planning for your child’s First Communion, please allow enough time for:
- Order processing
- Shipping and delivery
- Trying on the merchandise
- Any necessary alterations
- A possible size exchange
Ordering early is always recommended during the busy First Communion season.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be provided whenever available.
Please allow time for the shipping carrier to update its tracking system after your package leaves our facility.
Your order may arrive in more than one package if merchandise is shipping from different locations.
If your order is shipped in multiple packages, additional tracking information may be provided as each package ships.

Priority & Expedited Shipping
Upgraded shipping options may be available for certain orders.
The upgraded shipping option offered online is generally USPS Priority Mail.
If you require service faster than the shipping options displayed during checkout, please contact us before placing your order so we can determine:
- Whether the merchandise is available for immediate shipment
- Whether expedited shipping is available to your destination
- The additional shipping cost
- Whether the requested delivery timeframe is realistic
Express shipping charges vary based on destination, package weight and the shipping service required.

Canada & International Shipping
FirstCommunions.com ships First Communion apparel and religious merchandise to customers throughout the United States and internationally.
International orders generally require approximately 5–7 business days for processing, as we make every effort to consolidate merchandise into one shipment.
Current International Shipping Options
First Class International Mail — up to 4 lbs: $75.00
Priority International Mail: Starting at $100.00, depending upon package weight and destination.
Express International Shipping: Available by request when possible.

International Delivery Times
International delivery times depend on the destination country, carrier and customs processing.
Most international orders arrive approximately 2–3 weeks after shipment, but international delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
Customers should allow additional time for:
- Customs processing
- International carrier delays
- Local delivery delays
- Holidays
- Weather
- Import inspections
If your order is for a specific First Communion or special occasion date, please order as early as possible.
Customs, Duties & Import Fees
International packages may be subject to customs duties, taxes, brokerage charges or other import fees imposed by the destination country.
Any customs duties, taxes or import-related charges assessed by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient.
Customs processing is controlled by the destination country’s customs authorities and may affect delivery time.
Christian Expressions® cannot guarantee the amount of time an international package will remain in customs.

First Communion is a highly seasonal occasion, and many popular First Communion dresses, veils, suits, shoes and accessories can sell quickly.
We encourage families to order early rather than waiting until shortly before their Communion date.
Ordering early gives you additional time to:
- Make sure the garment fits properly
- Exchange a size if necessary
- Complete alterations
- Coordinate shoes, veils and accessories
- Prepare for unexpected shipping delays

Product Availability
We make every effort to keep the merchandise shown on our website updated.
However, because inventory can change quickly during the First Communion season, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order has been placed.
If an ordered item is no longer available, we will contact you as soon as possible so you can determine whether you would prefer an available substitute or cancellation of that item.
